Camera ideas: Helping People
To Promote Themselves.

Hello Digital Camera-Ideas Enthousiast,
great to have you on this blog again today,

Do You Make
Promotional Photo's...?

'There are lot's of People that
Need Promotion'

Some years ago when working at a Company
Besides taking headshot photo's in a special
Photo Studio,

They also frequently asked me to take
special Promotional Photo's, for example
Photo's that displayed the Store Lay-out's,
and also taking photo's during
In-store Events, or for website
promotions etc. etc....,

Recently I discovered an interesting site writing about
several groups of people that want to have their Photo
taken for Promoting themselves.

'Headshots' can
be great for such occasions. In the blogpost
you can read all about what is required
for such Photographs.

People to Promote:

To give you an example of Groups of people
you can think of are for example:

* Company Owners (for example for Press Releases etc.)
* Actors & Actressess (for example for their Portfolio)
* Models (for example for their Portfolio)
* Music Artist (for example Photo's
for their Website, Album Cover or for in Magazines.)

For what that Last one is concerned
- as you might have read in any of
the other blogposts
- years ago I worked in
the Music Business myself, and I also have a Music Blog where
I once wrote a special posts with a little story
about a
Cover Photo of a Magazine
you can find this post at: Magazine Cover Photo

Also * Bloggers want to present themselves online, and
you can read about that at: Bloggers are Looking for your Photo's

(Btw. you can also just take nice Photo's to
Put in Photo Frames
for example to Decorate Workspaces
and Photo Frames also make good Gift Ideas.)

Talking about Blogging and about
Bloggers that write Blogposts...,

Also Writing Articles can
Be A Great Way to Promote and to Build a Brand.

'So How About Providing Somebody
with a Little Red Carpet Treadment?'

Great Photo Tip:

As you could read in a previous post titled:

Digital Photography Lighting, Making it Look Proffessional
you don't want the person you photograph
look like a Monster...,

'A special Tip: When you make photo's with the faces of
people on them you might like to soften the dropshadow's a little
and make your photo's look really professional that way!!!
You can do this by using a a 'Reflector'

(for example a big sheet of white paper) to reflect
some of the sunlight from a different
angle, it will help you to soften really
hard dropshadows'

What Do You Think...?

'Do you have experience with making
Promotional Photo's...?'
