Our Photo-Shoot in the Wild
Some time ago my sister read in a local News Paper that
The repairs
of the Church bells from the town Baarn, was postponed because of
Long-eared Owls.
This was our Chance to Spot Owls
'In the Wild' because - although we already did see
Several Wild Birds,
like Owls at Muiderslot Castle some years ago - we also wanted
to see them 'In the Wild'.....,
I expected them to be near the bells
in the Church itself, but I couldn't see any Owls or any other interesting (Feathered) Top Models to Photograph.
So I thought that
they might already be gone.
Not Easy to Spot !
Only my Sister said that the Owls would be in Trees near the Church, I still couldn't
see any Owls, they don't have bright easy to Spot Colors, they are Brown as
the trees themselves,

Finally after tracing Bird droppings
we saw
in the Trees, we discovered a few of them !
Sleepy Heads!
They hardly Moved and
they where still asleep, that made them very hard to Spot
even if you did see them and knew they where there! We made a few Photo's and since
they are
"Night-animals"....,
Later in the afternoon we went back and now they
seemed to begin to wake up because, when we looked again that afternoon, they had a little more movement,
now you could see also actually see their heads, and their eyes half opened.
As you can see we also used a Photo as a Design
